I dont see why people would fuss around vegetarians (or vegans). It's not just once or twice for me to face people who see me going vegetarian straight up weirdly. It's sort of sad to see people judging us, vegans, as silly hippie hipster-ish entities.
Here are some highlights for you:
- No, I dont kill animals by eating their food. I dont eat grass.
- No, I am not an animal or PETA activist nor a freak about it.
- No, I am so not on a diet. I'm not even skinny.
I'm going vegan because I just want to live healthier. Aside of avoiding meaty intake for my body, I also stop drinking soda, consuming carbo (rice or bread), and bottled sweet drinks. I do yoga or pilates or just swimming or jogging on the weekend.
I believe that when you treat your body right, it will love you back and give you so much benefit in return. It's your body that you're gonna live in for the rest of your life on earth. It's your vessel. So why not treat it well?
